What are the benefits of Nibbana in Buddhism compared to Death, for a Living?

Similarity of Nibbana to Death are stated as:
1. bodily fabrication has ceased & subsided,
2. verbal fabrication has ceased & subsided,
3. mental fabrication has ceased & subsided,

Difference of Nibbana to Death are stated as:
1. life force is not ended
2. heat is not dissipated
3. faculties are bright & clear (not shut down)

Cessation of perception & feeling is not the only way to break a link of the cycle as per Paticcasamuppāda (Dependent Origination).

Why cessation of suffering so important to a Living?
