How does a computer operating system shutdown itself in abstract sense?
Starting process of an operating system with the help of boot loaders, etc is clear.
But how does self-shutdown (up to electricity cut-off) possible without external help?
(question is not about Trigger as a Click or Automatic Shutdown)
(question is not about go to start > click turn off the computer, etc)
(question is not about close programs, close drivers, etc)
Can you explain shutdown process in abstract sense?
