What is Church?

Question:
http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20130109222306AAjhsDx

What is the meaning of the term 'church'?

1. Is it a public/private building made of bricks, wood, cement, etc like a club?

2. Is it a thought process (place in the heart/mind)?
Greek word 'ecclesiology' = ekklesia/ecclesia (assembly, church) + logos (thought, word, principle)?
“church” = ecclesia, meaning to be “called out” ?

If so, irrespective of religious interpretations, creeds, customs, beliefs, traditions, etc 'The true Church of God' is simply a THOUGHT PROCESS.

Further,
Egyptians believed that feelings and thoughts originate in the heart.
To the ancient Hebrews the heart was the mind including all thoughts including emotions.

But, modern Christianity uses mind and heart separately by mixing Latin and Greek terminology.
