Why Mother worship her Son in Buddhism?
http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20121122084204AAVUN2VAt the ordination ceremony where laymen (specially children) are converted to novice Buddhist monks called 'Samanera', mother prostrates and worships her son (now novice Bhikkhu) like the father has to salute the higher ranked son in military.
Since monk societies and their procedures are fictional, why does human worship human at the first place (only slaves bow at master)?
Is it the correct tradition to respect mother?
